Note and Float

Life Jacket Fund

What we Do

Note and Float Life Jacket Fund, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, which donates life jackets to swimming pools for the Note & Float program to prevent drowning. Note & Float is a program designed to save lives, identifying non-swimmers and floating them in properly-fitting, U.S. Coast Guard approved life jackets.

Why we Do it

Drowning continues to be a leading cause of death worldwide. Children are especially at risk for drowning. Our society typically reserves life jackets for open water. However, life jackets will save lives in pools too. Even though it's not the way we've always done it - it's time to bring the life jacket to a new arena - the swimming pool. Non-swimming children will not drown in a properly-fitting U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket. Children must learn to swim, but before they can, we need to float them.

For pools that do not have the funds to obtain life jackets, but want to implement the Note & Float program to save lives, Note and Float Life Jacket Fund can provide the life jackets for your facility.

In Memory

Srirachat "Palm" Ganpet lost his life heroically saving two of his friends at Lake Mohave on April 1, 2015. Life Jackets are donated, and more lives saved, each year in memory of Palm.
